Giving my first lecture on Visual Data Analysis to master’s-level students in the Master of Educational Research program at the University of Gothenburg was an unforgettable experience. We had fruitful discussions and engaging questions about the role of arts in educational research projects.

DiS Konferens 2024 (Drama Research in Sweden) Presenting my Research Plan: Theaters as Teaching Environments University of Stockholm 24 & 25 October 2024.

The presentation of my research plan at Dramaforskarfredag was successfully completed, and I am grateful for drama researchers’ support and feedback. It feels wonderful to be part of the drama research community of Sweden.

Two days filled with fascinating research presentations, reflections in dialogue groups, and a panel discussion. I am proud to be one of the keynote speakers and present my Arts-Based Educational Action Research project. It is wonderful to listen to and discuss with Ulf Blossing, Erik Andersson, and other presenters and participants! I’ve packed my luggage with new experiences and ideas about democracy and children’s participation. Additionally, I feel even more motivated to emphasize the importance of drama pedagogy in the educational system.

NORALF (Nordic Action Learning and Action Research) is a Nordic conference for action learning and action research within the field of education. The conference brings together researchers and professionals from the entire education system for presentations and discussions about ongoing and completed action research projects and collaborations. I was delighted to present my first published research article at the Drama Pedagogy Research Conference, Konferensen Dramaforskning I Sverige (DiS), organized by the University of Stockholm in October 2023. You can find my article here

It was my debut presentation -my premiere- at a research conference, and it definitely warmed my heart to receive feedback from the audience about my work & research methodology and to connect with passionate individuals in the field of drama across Sweden.
